Return Policies

You may return any core or wrong part not later than 30 business days from your original order for a refund or replacement. All parts must, however, be in their original condition, and cannot be disassembled or damaged by incorrect installation.

Return Process

To start a return request, call 877-820-5222 and ask for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. We will need your Invoice number, name, address, email address, part number you wish to return, and the reason you wish to make the return. No returns will be accepted without an RMA number. The RMA number must be written on the outside of the carton, otherwise the return will not be accepted. All returns must be postage paid and are not refundable. All returns must be packaged properly; we are not responsible for damaged goods that occur as a result of improper packing.

Return Process

Normally it takes 10 to 14 days for us to process your refunds for returns or cores

Risk of Loss

All items purchased from our website are made pursuant to our shipping terms, which are F.O.B. shipping point. This means that that risk of loss and title of any item is passed to you at the shipping point, which is when the carrier accepts the goods for transport.

Terms & Condition for Return of Item(s)

  • Upon receiving your order, please inspect all packages thoroughly for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.
  • If you receive a damaged part, do NOT accept the package. Have the shipper immediately return to sender.
  • If the shipper has left a damaged package in your absence, immediately contact the shipper and have the package returned to sender.
  • We are not responsible for installation errors or any labor, towing, or rental car expenses that occur as the result of the installation of any wrong or defective parts.
  • We are not responsible for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts after 30 business days, regardless of the party at fault. We must be contacted immediately if any of the above occurs.
  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages and all claims for such must be processed through the shipping company.

    Terms & Condition for Sales of Products

  • All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • We reserve the right to correct typographical and printing errors.
  • We reserve the right to correct prices or calculation errors.
  • We reserve the right not to proceed with any order where we feel that it will put us, the recipient, or any other party in a vulnerable position either financially or for any other justifiable reason. We will contact every customer placing an order to notify them of the cancellation providing a viable e-mail address has been given. We will not be required to incur any additional expense other than to use the e-mail to cancel such an order.

    Clutch Products Limited Warranty

    Phoenix Friction Products warrants to the original buyer that all clutch products sold are free from defects in both workmanship and materials.

  • Phoenix Friction OE Replacement Clutch Kits are warranted for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles from the date of installation (whichever occurs first) provided the clutch, disc, release bearing and pilot bearing are properly replaced, and the flywheel is properly resurfaced or replaced.
  • Performance upgrade clutch kits (included Commercial vehicles) are warranted for a period of 90 days or 4,000 miles from the date of installation (whichever occurs first) provided the clutch, disc, release bearing and pilot bearing are properly replaced, and the flywheel is properly resurfaced or replaced.
  • All other clutch related parts such as clutch cables, slave cylinders, master cylinders, release forks and flywheels are warranted for a limited period of 90 days from the date of installation.

    This warranty does not cover failure or malfunctions resulting from use for high performance or racing purposes, accidents, improper application or installation, modification, alteration, improper servicing, tampering, normal wear and tear or abuse.

    Phoenix Friction Products reserves the right to inspect any products in question and to make a judgment on the warranty claim. Product returned for a warranty claim must be returned, accompanied by the original receipt; clutch sets must also include an invoice showing that the flywheel was resurfaced or replaced. All shipping costs shall be paid buyer.

    This warranty does not cover the following:

  • Product returned without all original components.
  • Products that have been altered, improperly installed or damaged by accident, negligence or misuse.
  • Products damaged by excessive heat caused by slipping.
  • Clutches with bent or broken drive straps.
  • Oil-contaminated and/or grease-contaminated clutches or discs.
  • Discs with bent or broken retainer plates, broken or missing damper springs or damaged hub splines.
  • Discs or release bearings installed backwards.

    Consider replacing the following parts since in most cases they cannot be inspected for damage visually:
    clutch cable, slave cylinder, master cylinder.

    The right to inspect a Product and/or sub-component to determine if it has failed because of a defect in workmanship or materials is expressly reserved.

    No other warranties, guaranties, or representations of any type, either express or implied are made, and all warranties (including any implied warranties of reasonable care, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose) are disclaimed. This warranty does not cover labor charges. All incidental or consequential damages, from any cause whatsoever, and any such liability, are disclaimed. The sole remedy for any claimant under this warranty shall be the repair, replacement, or credit for the Product as determined to be defective by the authorized warranty inspector (and in the sole and final discretion of the authorized warranty inspector). Any liability for damage arising out of or related to a Product, the purchase of a Product, or the installation of a Product (whether for breach of contract, tort (including, without limitation, any negligence or strict liability), or any other claim or cause of action), is limited to the repair, replacement, or credit of the Product (in the sole discretion of the authorized warranty inspector). The liability limitations contained in this warranty shall inure to the benefit of all sellers, retailers, distributors, suppliers, wholesalers and manufacturers of the Product and sub-components.

    How to Exercise Your Warranty

    Any claims for defects under this limited warranty should be submitted promptly. If purchased directly from Phoenix Friction Products, call for a Return Goods Authorization. Any defective part as determined in the discretion of the authorized warranty inspector will be repaired, replaced, or credited (at the discretion of the warranty inspector). The purchaser will be responsible for all return shipping charges and related costs.

    Brake Products Limited Warranty

    Phoenix Friction Products warrants to the original buyer that all brake products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

  • OE Replacement brake parts are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase or 3,000 miles of use of the product, whichever comes first.

    This warranty does not cover failure or malfunctions resulting from use for high performance or racing purposes, accidents, improper application or installation, modification, alteration, improper servicing, tampering, normal wear and tear or abuse.

  • Parts having uneven pad wear due to worn calipers, worn rotors, or worn drums.
  • Parts that have oil or grease contamination.
  • Parts showing signs of improper installation.

    The right to inspect a Product and/or sub-component to determine if it has failed because of a defect in workmanship or materials is expressly reserved.

    No other warranties, guaranties, or representations of any type, either express or implied are made, and all warranties (including any implied warranties of reasonable care, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose) are disclaimed. This warranty does not cover labor charges. All incidental or consequential damages, from any cause whatsoever, and any such liability, are disclaimed.
