This is an Exedy Stage 2 clutch Kit with a high clamp load pressure plate. This kit will provide a 20% increase in Engine Torque over the OE clutch kit with only a slight increase in pedal pressure. This kit is a direct OE replacement Performance Clutch Kit and will not require any modifications during installation. The OE woven organic disc is ideal for maintaining the smooth engagement you are used to from the original clutch when the vehicle was new and the high clamp load pressure plate offers greater torque capacity when making light modifications to the engine. This Heavy Duty Fleet (HDM) Formulation is used on commercial and automotive fleet vehicles, police, emergency, and other extreme duty applications where a high-heat, long-life disc pad is required.
* Our Heavy Duty Semi-Metallic is our "Extreme High Heat" formulation providing an industry leading heat range of up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit!
* Another major significance of our HDM formulation is that it does not exceed the Measure of Hardness (MOH rating) of the brake rotor. This ensures very long life of the disc pads and rotors (up to three times longer than competitors' pads) because the pads and rotors wear evenly throughout the life of the pad.

CMC164 Clutch Master Cylinder: Ford Probe, 626, MX6, Protégé
This is a NEW OE replacement Master Cylinder. All hydraulic components are manufactured by OE manufacturers. The picture (when available) is of the actual product. If the master cylinder you are replacing is different in any way, please contact us for technical assistance. To ensure proper function, the hydraulic system MUST BE bled of all air using new DOT 3 brake fluid. The clutch pedal height and free play should be checked for proper adjustment. If the DOT 3 Fluid in the hydraulic system is not light-golden brown in color, the system has become contaminated and the fluid must be replaced. If the discoloration has a black tint, it is the result of the master or slave cylinder seals wearing out. In these cases, we strongly suggest replacing these components to avoid unnecessary costs later.
