08-952.4C Exedy Stage 2 Ceramic Clutch Kit: Acura CL, Honda Accord, Prelude - 220mm
This is an Exedy Stage 2 Thick clutch Kit with a high clamp load pressure
plate and a ceramic button clutch disc. This kit will provide up to a 75% increase in Engine Torque over
the OE clutch kit with only a slight increase in pedal
pressure.

Friction Disc
- Exedy cerametallic clutches are designed to handle
the
abuse of high power modified engines. These
cerametallic friction materials can handle much more
abuse
than stock type disc assemblies without slipping and
fading. The "thick" discs have better heat capacity and therefor better durability in demanding applications. The Exedy three and four puck designs typically have less inertia than a stock disc and work well for street, rally, and track use.
- Clutch Cover
- These clutch covers are designed to achieve a clamping
load that is approximately 40% higher than the genuine part
allowing higher torque transmitting capacity. Ductile
material is used for all pressure plates and high burst
strength can be achieved in all temperature ranges.
This Exedy Stage 2 clutch kit is a direct OE replacement Performance
Clutch Kit and will not require any modifications during
installation. This is a complete clutch kit and includes all
necessary components when replacing your clutch.

This is a Phoenix Friction Stage 2 Kevlar Street Performance Clutch Kit. The kit features an OE Pressure Plate and a Phoenix Friction high heat Kevlar spring dampened disc. This Kevlar clutch guarantees a chatter free engagement, and is without a doubt the smoothest engaging clutch on the market today. It will provide up to a 20% increase in engine torque capacity over the OE clutch. At the same time, you will not notice any increase in pedal effort over the stock clutch. Since there are no metal or abrasive particles in the friction material, Kevlar significantly reduces flywheel wear, and provides 300% longer life than that of original equipment under normal driving conditions. Note: Kevlar is a high tech material that needs up to a 1000 mile break in period to properly seat for optimum performance.

This is a resurfaced flywheel. The picture (when available) is of the actual product, and shows both sides. If the flywheel you are replacing is different in any way, please contact us for technical assistance. All resurfaced flywheels we sell have only been resurfaced once. Most flywheels can be resurfaced twice without affecting release, however, flywheels that have too much material removed can affect the clutch release in hydraulic release systems.
