Our
Fleet HDM brand high-heat heavy duty semi-metallic brake pads have
been extensively field tested and used for years by fleets like
UPS, the largest U.S. fleet in the US, in their
Ford, GM, International, Freightliner, and Workhorse Step Delivery
Vans. We realize that there are many smaller fleet operators
that can benefit from the quality and longevity of our HDM pad line
and it makes sense to offer them to all fleet operators.
Our HDM Brake Pads pads are by far the longest lasting pads available
on the market today due to the use of superior ingredients.
At the same time, they have a MOH (measure-of-hardness) that is
slightly lower than the brake rotor which makes them very
rotor friendly.
Phoenix Friction's HDM pad line boasts an incredible heat range
of up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit with a sustainable operating temperature
of 750 degrees Fahrenheit. Our closest fleet pad competitor
has a peak heat range of 650 Degrees. More important is that
our pads are designed to help dissipate this heat reducing the chance
of warping the rotors.Urban stop-and-go traffic, heavy loads, hilly
terrain, all produce high operating temperatures that HDM pads were
designed to handle while at the same time providing a long lasting
product that minimizes rotor wear, eliminates squeal, and enables
the owner to enjoy the lowest brake cost-per-mile.
Reports
received from the field tell the story best: Our HDM pads are lasting
three times longer than their current pads, and in some cases up
to 5 times longer. Yet the price they pay is virtually the
same as the pads they purchased locally. The reason we can
