This is a new replacement Clutch Fork and Ball Stud kit. The picture (when available) is of the actual product. Wear at the contact points of the clutch fork and the release bearing can cause hard pedal and/or problems with release. In addition, clutch forks made from stamped steel have a tendency to warp or fatigue and not retain their original shape.

It is recommended to carefully inspect the clutch fork for these issues and replace as required. Inspection of the transmission bearing retainer, clutch ball stud, bushings, and other release system components is also highly recommended at this time. Replace parts as necessary.

Quick shipping! Clutch fork is heavy duty and should last forever. However, the ball stud is not the correct one for my application (1990 F150 4.9 w/ 4 spd.) The shaft where it goes into the bell housing is too small in diameter and is not knurled like mine. Maybe a previous owner installed an aftermarket replacement ball stud?
