Kit # 07-069S can be used in place of the 07-010 kit on 1985-87 Ford Escort, Tempo, and Mercury Topaz models. It contains a redesigned release bearing and stamped steel sleeve. These components renew the sliding surface of the bearing retainer and eliminate the need to replace the entire front transmission housing. The release bearing has a larger inside diameter to accommodate the larger outside diameter of the repair sleeve. Use the replacement bearing and sleeve only as a set.
