The clutch fork and the clutch fork anchor has been upgraded by Ford because the original fork anchor is prone to wear and the original fork can bend and/or crack. The Ford part numbers for the upgraded components are:

Anchor: CRP167 (Ford # F81Z-7B602-AA), Clutch Fork: CF9840 (Ford # YC3Z-7515-BB)

We strongly recommend replacement of these parts when performing a clutch replacement to ensure satisfactory performance during the new clutch’s life cycle. They are available as CF9840K on our website.
