This is a one-piece hinged Clutch Brake.  This clutch brake is hinged on one end and snaps together once the clutch brake is in place and installed. 

If the clutch brake should fail, it can be removed in place without pulling the transmission by inserting a flat screwdriver under the release mechanism and lifting it till it pops open. This procedure can be done through the inspection cover opening in the bellhousing.
