Problem: Hard Pedal / Noise – Result of Failed Pedal Return Spring Clutch Kits Affected: 04-049, 04-064, 04-065, 04-081, 04-087, 04-089, 04-105, 04-121, 04-122, 04-131, 04-138

Hard pedal and scraping noise while depressing the clutch pedal may be caused by the failure of the clutch pedal return spring. Remove the return spring. It is not needed for proper operation. For additional information, refer to GM bulletin #46-73-03.
