This is a Phoenix Friction Stage 5 Extra Heavy Duty combination Kevlar and Ceramic Solid Flywheel upgrade Conversion Clutch Kit for the G56 Mercedes G56 Transmission.  This kit features a Phoenix Friction Heavy Duty clutch disc with High Torque Dampeners mated to a Thrust Stop Hub and featuring a unique Kevlar and Ceramic dual friction disc setup.

The combination of a full-faced Kevlar friction material and a bonded Ceramic button ring clutch handles high heat levels and minimizes chatter. It will provide up to a 50% increase in engine torque capacity over the OE clutch. At the same time, you will notice only a slight increase in pedal effort over the stock clutch. The combination of these two premium friction materials provides up to a 200% gain in clutch life than that of original equipment under normal driving conditions. Note: Kevlar is a high tech material that needs up to a 1000 mile break in period to properly seat for optimum performance. Recommended performance clutch package for modified vehicles that desire a smoother engagement with high heat capability and long life.

A Phoenix Stage 5 combination Kevlar and Ceramic solid flywheel conversion clutch kit is a direct replacement for the OE Dual Mass Flywheel clutch setup and will not require any modifications during installation and includes all parts required for the conversion. The kit also comes standard with an upgraded prefilled hydraulic system that bolts right on, eliminating the need to bleed the system after installation. You will only notice a slight increase in pedal effort over the stock clutch.
